I would NOT count on getting through the Whipsaw in June. I was in the area in May of 2016 and there was still easily 2 feet of snow in the shade as soon as we started gaining some elevation. BC has had plenty of snow this winter (most in the world I hear) so I'd mark your calendar a month or two later. When I ran the trail it was mid-August and it was perfect. It would probably still be fine in mid to late September. Usually snow hits the 6000 feet mark around October.
