NEW REAR AND FRONT LEAF SWPRINGS
« on: June 18, 2010, 08:14:32 AM »
Hello zuk group:

I NEED TO CHANGE MY ORIGINAL LEAF SPRINGS FOR MY SAMI JX 87

Does anyone know which leaf spring is the closest one to original specifications; Rancho, Trailmaster, Dakar, etc.?
How many inches of lifting is the original specification for rear leaf springs?
Please need advise.

Thanks to all. Raymond

are you looking to lift it? if so how much?
if a bigger hammer, bigger tires or more gas doesn't help... your doing it wrong.

i just put Old man emu 1.5" springs on mine, but haven't finished everything else to take it out.  i have heard they are a fairly soft spirng but they seem pretty sturdy.  i have a full set of stock ones if your interested

When I replaced OEM springs I just gave Hawk Suzuki a call and had them ship me some used ones in good shape.  You snag a leaf from your old pack as well to give you some extra strength for carrying capacity.
