you need to take the two leafs off the front and put on the rear. it will lift the vehicle 1.5", and move the axle forward an inch. basing this on a stock sammy for parts list: Missing links, 1"extended bone shackles, extended brake lines, shock hoops, driveline spacer, Trail Tough says solid bushing are needed, they dont list them on their site. call Trail tough and double check even though they r kind of assholes. this was the best mod i made to my Samurai for off road but i dont think its the best mod for onroad. it seem i got more vibration at higher speeds, panhard bar is kind of needed for steering, havent done it on mine yet.

I made my own folding shackles when I did the RUF conversion.  For the shock towers I used a set from a mid-90's F-250.  You used to be able to find them at any Ford dealership, they are a bit harder to come by these days though.  Then added a 1" drive-line spacer to the front.

Works great with no vibrations with a decent set of tires and a good steering stabilizer, way better ride then stock.
An alternative to using a folding shackle setup is to make a new shackle mount 3" further forward on the frame, that way you can just use your existing shackle.

For the springs I got rid of the overload spring and added an extra second spring, that way they stay nice and level without any reverse arch.

It's a world of difference, you'll be happy you did it once all is said and done.

An inch to inch.5 as MadMaxZuki said.  It works really well for fitting larger tires, gets them away from the inside fender well.  But if your running 33" tires with a small amount of lift you may end up rubbing against the front of the fender well.

Some people will drill a second pilot hole in their spring pads, allowing them to shift the axle back a bit to help off-set the slide forward.

When build the hybrid leaf pack I recommend keeping the military wrap from the front leaf( the leaf that looks like a sheppards crook) by redrilling the screw hole. I cut mine off and the 3" gap of the top leaf to the shackle looks like a lot of stress is on it.
