I believe Lowrange has a kit to adapt the Sidekick steering to Toyota steering

This is a pretty easy one... You keep the stock Sidekick box and get high steer for your Toyota axle. When you're talking to the person you getting the high steer from (Recommend Sky manufacturing) tell them what you are doing and they can make the draglink with appropriate tie rod ends. BOOM! You're done.

Hope this helps, Eric

ya thanks i found out that the high steer would work with my steering box.  But that the tie rod that goes to the box would needed to be drilled out, but your saying that they would make it fit my rig without drilling?

yes, sidekick box will work, however, its preferable to move the axle a bit forward for better clearance on the back of the fenderwell and better wheelbase. Also the sidekick box has a shorter throw than the yota box. By bud has yota axles and sidekick box on his sammy, and it doesnt turn it all the way to the bumpstops. Yes Sky is the man to help ya on this tho. But I recommend the toyota IFS box. Its stronger, and has the throw needed for the axle.

say if I move the front axle 4'' or 6'' or even more do I need to relocate the box or can it be in the same spot with the axle pushed forward?

You would have to move the box up with the axle. Have the steering box in front of the axle.
