Its just the old resistor trick that makes the engine think the air temperature is lower and then adds more fuel. The problem is that most stock Suzukis are a little rich at WOT anyway and secondly the ECU will try to readjust the fuelling to compensate. It certainly can't reprogramme the ECU, that needs a daughterboard to replace the processor to enable it to run with an external memory.
