Rear shock mounts
« on: September 25, 2016, 11:00:52 AM »
Just bought me an 88 suki. It's bad arse. I have it primed and ready for paint. I'm looking for a military green, like CARC in a can. Any recommendations? Also, I have no idea what size of nuts the rear shock lower and upper mounts are... it's not M12 1.25..... what the heck are they? American size?

Everything should be metric unless someone swapped things out.  Looks like your running a Spring Over lift, might be running different pads and bolts on the bottom.

Thanks Drone637. A buddy of mine brought some nuts with him form his shop last night and they fit! I still don't know what size they were but it got the job done. After priming the beast, I got a hold of some bed liner paint, Olive green. Man, this thing looks awesome! I'll post some pics up tomorrow. It's too dark out now and my garage light blows. I still have to finish painting the wheel flares and bumper flat black. I have some plastic bucket seats coming in in a couple of days as well.

You might want to get the padded covers for those plastic seats.  Had some passengers complain when I was running them.  :D

These are the seats I got, with the sliding rails as well. The paint ended up being bed liner olive green. Looks pretty damn sweet.
Sorry I never got my picture up, I had to leave out of country on bid-nizz.
