so guys and gals my wifes dodge neon is about to give up the ghost and she doesnt know how to drive a 5spd and doesnt want to so with no large amount of cash to put down on a new vehicle I need to know 1 question, how hard would it be to put an auto tranny in a 93 4door sidekick that is equipped with a 5spd trans?

If you use a 3 spd trans you only need a shifter, vacuum line and trans cooler and you're driving. 4 spd requires ecm and wiring also. I've done the 3 spd swap on 2 of my rigs and both work awesome.
