New tires?
« on: October 20, 2010, 09:34:16 PM »
Hey recently someone just slashed my brand new 33x13.50 super swampers.

So now I have to get new tires. YAY  :-\

Anyways, Im looking to get the best tires I possibly can for rock crawling, but I still want to be able to drive the bad boy on the road.

I felt like having 13.5's was a little bit too much for my little 1.3 to be pushing. 5th gear didnt really have a purpose when I drove.

So if you have any opinions on what tires to get, that would be fantastic!

I run those same tires, I like them, they are not a rock
tire, but I think they have a good amount of traction
but not too much to break stuff

IMO but there are lots of tires out there

Dont get me wrong I love em two, was hella stoked with em.

But since I gotta get new ones, figured id try somethin different.

Still said swamper on the top of the nobbies before they got slashed. Like 95% tread

If they were purchased at 4 wheel parts and they have the road hazard
you could get all new ones for the price of a new road hazard policy

damn dude, that sucks, 95% tread with a gash makes me sad...  is it in the sidewall? on all the tires?
if a bigger hammer, bigger tires or more gas doesn't help... your doing it wrong.

Yeah it looks like they tried to stab at the tread, so either they had a small knife or they are idiots. Cause they had no luck with that.

So they took it to the sidewalls, they cant be patched.. :(

Yeah well unfortunately my towns basically full of tweakers, washington.. ugh.

So I'm guessing ill never find them, if I do though they're in for a slashing of their own.
