There is a small hose that goes from the cooling tube to the bottom of the intake,
and then there are heater hoses, are those the ones you replaced?

Then you might want to change the little one that's going from the
cooling tube to to the intake manifold, it's about 3/8" ID line, I blew
one wide open once, I had put the wrong type of hose on it.

The piece is only like 5-6 inches long and has a 90* bend in it, but
straight hose will bend and work fine as long as it's not over the length
that is needed it won't kink

is the leak coming from the little hole in the water pump? if so then it's telling you that it's going to break and you've got to change it before it fails.

There is also the metal pipe that tends to leak a little when the o-ring dries. Can you take a pic of the area?

sweet. found the little thing. one of the heater core hoses runs under the intake. i replaced the core hoses but definitly miss that small one... was a pain to get to the bottom half. i was lucky enough to be doing my clutch at the time so had no trans to deal with. thinking royal pain to get to otherwise

I replaced the small carburetor hoses about a year ago and now it looks like one of the bigger heater hoses -- the one closest to the block -- is now leaking. It looks like a bear to get at. I can't even see where it connects to the block. Any hints as to the best way to go about replacing it? What sized is the hose? I need to limp it to NAPA or somewhere to get the hose.
