Hi , got to replace the lube in my transfer case and front end ... what is best to use for my 97' x-90 stock ...brand/weight ect.

Official answer: whatever the owners manual says to use. Many here have opinions and favorites as to lubricants, so I'm sure you'll get as many opinions as there are brands. I use half 90 weight gear oil and half Lucas Oil treatment in both my diffs and xfer case. Now let the debates begin!

I didn't get a manual with the buggy. So just 90 weight gear oil like castrol would prolly be fine for xfer case and front end ? I'm putting the calmini 6" combo lift in this x-90... i will post some build pics as i go along .

75w90 GL4 is the OEM recommendation, but GL4 is hard to find anymore, so if you need to get GL5 make sure it says 'yellow metal safe' or 'syncro safe' on the label.... it may not matter for the xfer case & diffs though since there's no syncros in them. It would only matter for a manual tranny.

80/90 GL5 gear oil is what I use.

50/50 synthetic MOBIL1 ATF and Lucas Synthetic Gear Oil for the T-case
and straight Lucas in the front diff

The only problem with that is the Bacon Grease only has a
100 mile change interval, after that it starts to oink
