Crown Vic shocks suppose to be airshock?
« on: September 28, 2011, 09:21:06 PM »
I am installing a 2" lift coil spacer kit and went to NAPA and asked for early 1990's crown Vic non-police shocks. Just opened the box and the shocks are twice the size in diameter from the stock ones on my 1990 tracker and they are air shocks with air chucks. In all the forums I read about lift kits and all the mentions of crown Victorian shocks for replacing the stock ones, I don't recall ever reading that they are air shocks and alot bigger diameter then stock. I have the front spacers in and have the rear jacked up ready for spacers but don't know if these shocks will work.  Thanks for your help.
