T-case Problems
« on: November 23, 2009, 03:25:47 PM »
When i bought my samurai I was testing the 4 wheel drive and i got it to go into 4 hi, neutral and 4 lo but it doesn't seem to want to scoot over to go up into to 2 hi. I put a new shift sheet and it still didn't fix the problem I am a little stumped. anyone got an Idea?

pull the shifter out and take a big screw driver and try to line up the two shafts so the shifter will move side to side.

you just need to re-align the shift forks. For some reason I've got  the same problem. Mine sticks in neutral. I changed the sheet, shifter and it still does it. I just don't clip the shifter back in and let it loose.

I would unlock your front hubs just to be on the safe side but you should be fine.

DOUBLE CLICK ON THE EVIL TWIN BANNER AND ADD TWIN STICK TO YOUR RIDE! YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THAT PROBLEM AGAIN!
