Get the alignment done - I'm betting the steering is toe and possibly the camber is out and I want to see if I'm right.
Personally I would recommend an alignment be done after most suspension work - and if you've replaced struts, ball joints & bushings - it's definitely needed. If it was in alignment with worn ball joints & bushes, and you replaced those parts, you're pretty much guaranteed it's out of alignment now.
In fact I'm curious - if I take a car in for alignment (and I had one done about a week ago) the guys will put it on the machine, lift the weight of the wheels and then grab the wheels and shake - by doing that they can detect play in the linkages -loose or worn bushes/bearings/balljoints/rod ends and if it's rack & pinion - rackends - will show up like this, and if there is wear to the point that stuff needs replacing they will advise against an alignment until the parts are replaced - they will go ahead & do it if you insist, but, they will advise against it. Don't they do that where you are?
