I'm happy to say I have been introduced to the wonderful world of the samurai! I apologize for the noobiness. I am still learning mechanics in general so I'm not as save as I'd like to be.
My 1990 fuel injected samurai started this morning great. I opened the hood and tightened something that was leaking. I didn't do anything except that and now it turns over but doesn't start. I'm stumped. Any thoughts?

So I found that the sparks plugs are not firing. I'm not really sure where to go from here.

What did you tighten?  If you don't know a photo is better than " something that was leaking".
Then I would check ignition coil fuse for starters.

Welcome to Zukiworld.  You will soon find out that everything you do usually has effects, some you are expecting and some are not. 
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

So I did look at the distributer and it looked clean. I'm not sure how to test it but what I am thinking that some wire was bumped out of place because it started that same day. The ignition coil fuse wouldn't be in the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side would it?
As far as the tightening piece, here is a picture. What I tightened was a bolt a little ways back in the picture that I  could still reach from the hood.

Yes, it is in fuse block on drivers side.  Then you will need volt meter or light to test further on in ignition system.

The fuse is fine. I confirmed that there is current coming from the ignition module so I would think it's something from the distributor. Is that right?

do you have any voltage at ignition coil?  Any voltage at black wire to distributor? Have you checked for any Codes?
