Thanks - honestly I love working on the tracker it's nice and simple, and with a resource like Zukiworld you can't go wrong.

Need to figure out something simple for the bumpers next.

I have to give you a lot of credit.   had that been mine, I'd have cut the whole thing up for scrap after seeing all that rust mucking things up.

Nice work hegemon, man that took some dedication!  I guess I got pretty lucky with my 95, virtually no rust at all, and it seems to be undercoated with some kind of rubberized material. It makes me wonder though, was this undercoating a factory installed job or aftermarket? Anyone know for sure?

Thanks all - it definitely took some time, but needless to say I'm a much better welder now then when I started.

Bentparts - a 95 with no rust would be a dream, my 96 also has some kind of rubberized under coating, kind of feels like uncurred bondo.  Seems to have protected a good portion of the tracker, as there's virtually no rust in my floors, just the frame and the rear section of the body.

My frame and just about everything else under the Tracker, fender wells etc. was coated with the stuff. Makes it a bitch to weld anything though, you've got to scrape it off first. I tried grinding it off, it just smeared! Sure did a nice job of protecting it though.
