where is my o2 sensor..

I'm mechanically illiterate but shouldn't the o2 sensor be where the header is? It looks like there's a place where it should be but there's nothing there. I don't see any wire for it or place. Is it under the heat shield?

X2, It's spot has been plugged with... ummm, something... But, since I can tell it's a Sammy by the jack on the fender... has your carb been replaced with a Weber or the like? If so, the o2 sensor is no longer needed.

It the stock carb, but its not the hitachi, its the aisin carb that was sold in certain markets i'm assuming, and its an 87 samurai, forgot to add that. so I guess theres no o2 censor  :-\

Thats correct, mine is like that, the boss on the manifold is cast in but not machined, I also had the Aisin carb.
