tore off my front clip for a little more clearance. the front pipe that runs in front with the a arms is starting to crack and rust out. i have a PC of 2in square stock that is exactly the length under that bar. if i put this in as a support  do you guys think this would work instead of cutting and replacing the pipe

stop it now, it will keep eating your frame.
