I have an 88 samurai that I just replaced the carb, distributor cap, bug, plugs, and plug wires. I replaced the original Hitachi carb with a refurbished one and everything runs smoothly, it will drive smooth but when I downshift to come to a stop and the rpms drop it will just die. Any ideas on what this might be? I was comparing the carb I ordered and my original core and saw on one side on the original core there were two vacuum ports but on the new carb there was only one port, anyone know what those are for? I will post some pictures for reference
