Hello Everyone,
I have a '93 Sidekick 2WD that I will be attempting to revive and hope to make drivable this year. I had planned to take her on her 1st test drive today after years of sitting in my garage, but when placing her in reverse it felt as if the brakes or something was stuck and prevented me from moving backwards. I gave it a little gas since she hasn't been driven in a in a few years thinking some rust may have formed up and prevented me to move. I gave her a little more gas thinking with a good turn of the axle, any rust that may have formed would have been broken apart and allow me to reposition her in the garage where I'll have more room to work. It still didn't move. I didn't want to make matters worse by forcing the issue and doing more damage so I stooped.
I plan to take of each tire and tap on the drum a few times to "loosen" things up a bit.
If that doesn't do it, can anyone please provide me with some additional things to try?
Thanks in advance.
