From what I remember, the inner and outer bearings are the same size. You need to replace both of them, along with the races. I would check the other side too, since they could be loose too. If the other side isn't loose, I would still pull the bearings out, clean them up, repack them and reinstall them.
You might as well replace the inner and outer wheel hub seals (they might call them wheel bearing seals, can't remember). Anyway, both seals are actually on the backside of the wheel hub, but one goes inside the hub (this one has to be removed, in order to get the inner wheel bearing and race out) and the other seal goes on the outside of the hub.
I would also check the lower ball joint, since you are tore this far into it. It would be a good time to replace it (them) if needed. To check the ball joint, you can grab the tire at 12:00 and 6:00 positions and alternate pulling and pushing the top and bottom of the tire, while someone watches the ball joint to see if there is any movement. If there is any at all, I would replace the ball joint.
