Front End parts
« on: August 22, 2017, 03:13:06 PM »
Just took my 92 4dr with 4.5" lift with Calmini Strut Eliminator kit for alignment.  Seems they want to replace the centerlink and rt tie rod.  They were able to align it but said there was a lot of play and it is easier to turn one way than the other.  I don't notice any changes.  Something about the thrust angle was way off as well

Does anyone have a suggestion on parts manufacturer or just go with one of Rock Auto's choices

They also suggested I need to possibly adjust the steering stabilizer or change the steering box so I'll need to check on those as well

I would pick one of the better known Rockauto choices.  I actually have a new center link that I can ysale you. It might be missing one nut that I used for something else.  I bought it for my Sport, but it wouldn't fit. The vendor said it would, but...

It needs a castle nut, which can come from your existing vehicle or a parts house.
