electrical issue

Hello all,
           
             So my issue is my running lights, my driver side works both running and brake and reverse and head, but my passenger side only runs my head brake and reverse, lights. how can the break light work but the tail light not???? i took a test light and i have no power for the running lights or the tail light, but when i push the breaks the test light lights up!!!! any ideas how to get my running lights working???

It sounds like you have lost the ground.  Look for a broken wire, The OEM wiring is thinner than speaker wire !!!!!
Also check the tail light assembly, the ground wire is attached to the bulb socket, these get KRUDDY with rust.
Also do any of the other lights go out (OR ON) when you step on the brakes ? This is a sure sign
of a BAD GROUND.

You answered your own question there - the brake lights & the tail lights are powered from different circuits - and since you have verified with a test light that there is no power, then you know where to look - at the power side, not the ground.  There is most likely a broken wire - or bad connection - in the harness between the left & right lights at the rear of the vehicle.  You need to find where the harness runs and check it for damage.
