help replacing the "king pin" / knuckle bearings

whats the easiest way to knock out the "king pin" races from the axle housing....  i have new ones to install..

I have tapped them out with a flat punch and a hammer from the backside.

Just tap, then move the position of the punch 180 degrees, tap again nove 90 degrees in the same direction, tap, move 180 degrees tap...  Repeat until the race falls out.

You might want to use a rubber mallet and a piece of wood to seat the new races.

Keep track of the knuckle shims - top-side, bottom-side, left and right!
