Yes. A pacesetter is fine.
 As to the cat.....Run her if you have to. If its just a visual inspection though , you can allways blow out the cat
and run it as a resonator....Boxcar...

If I order my engine rebuild kit from lowrange should I just go with the OEM style pistons or is it worth the extra $100 to get the high compression pistons and will that just make it have more nuts on take off and hills or an all around boost in power? Thanks

Hi comp pistons will defiantly increase HP # . Just make sure that you replace all the head bolts with new ones....Boxcar...
