« on: August 15, 2010, 07:34:50 AM »
My cluster w/tach has bad speedometer, I bought a cluster off e-bay and when I got it ,it was the one without the tach. My question is will it interchange without burning up my wireing and will every thing work?  Thanks  Goldfinder

You should be able to take the speedo abd put it in the cluster with the tach       but yes you can just swap them strait out as long its the same size as the old one        need to say what you are working on samurai   track/kick

if the speedo is not working its most likely the speedo cable
88.5 Samurai 33" TSL, 6.5:1 Xcase Gears, 92" wheelbase, 3link rear, SPOA front w/ drop shackle, open/locked. Soon to be this spring: Toyota front and Dana44 rear w/ homemade offset.

haha max i was just about to ask a Q about the speedo.  cut my cable when i took out my tcase and hoping it would fix it not working, is there anything els that would make it stop working?
if a bigger hammer, bigger tires or more gas doesn't help... your doing it wrong.
