150+ across all 4 would be good. Make sure they are all the same or close to the same #
Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some freakin' muscle.

Just make sure the cyls are no more than a 10psi difference listen for any rattles or odd nosies .Look for any kind of smoke oil leaks .That way you can make an offer on it trying to lower the price a little.Good luck!

I believe 150 psi would be considered the minimum acceptable - however - I know from experience that the G13B will run surprisingly well with much lower numbers, in fact less than 100 psi

while most engines may run on around 100 pounds,  that would be a suggestion that you have a tired motor.  ideally 150-190ish is where I'd say you need to be.

Oh definitely, and closer to 190 also - mine is down around 90 right now, and I've started accumulating the pieces I need to pull it and do the rebuild - gasket sets, seals, etc., area already here.
