I was wondering if the backspacing and offset on the newer tracker wheels are the same as the older sidekick?

I have a 1995 and found a set of 235 85 16 for a good price. Can I use the OEM Suzuki 16s from newer models?

Or just limited to the sport alloys?

What is your experience modifying motor vehicles?  You can determine whether or not wheels can be interchanged by looking at the specifications of the wheels - things like the bolt patterns, the center hole and the rim offset - once these indicate that the wheel is suitable, you can then test fit to confirm.

A 95 Sidekick will have a 5x5.5 bolt pattern (5 holes on a 5.5" pitch circle) and a center hole I believe of 108mm - you can verify this by removing one of your wheels & measuring it - newer models of Suzuki upto around 2005 used these came dimensions, but on larger rims (16 rather than 15), so you're not limited to the Sport

I have about 12years of experience with modified cars and trucks but I was mostly asking the question to see what I could find at the local junk yard. New steelies in 16x7 5x5.5 with 0 offset and 3.5 to 4in backspacing are about 80-$120ea wheel. The pick and pull will usually sell steelies 15ea. So I'm going to be looking for the 16s on newer models a matching set of 5.

I want the 32s to be inside the OEM fenders and skinny like a old jeep. Good for mpg and the mud. So I opted for the 235 85 16. I was considering a few sizes ranging from 30s to 32s. Tsl's in 32x9.5 are too expensive at 180ea but I found 235/85/16s for 550 set of 5 shipped. All the 31s seem too wide and the 32s are usually 11.5 which is too wide for me.

I wish this Suzuki had a 5th gear and 50 more hp
