Well, we just got back from the dealer and we bought my wife a brand new 08 SX4 crossover automatic w/ the convenience option.  She liked the looks when see saw one on the road, drove by the dealer last weekend and a black one caught her eye.  She wanted to go drive it today and we did (a 15 mile ride I might add). I have to say I am impressed. Interior room is unbelievable for such a small vehicle. It's quiet, smooth (engine and auto trans), rides crisp and quiet, handles awesome, stops with authority.  It's comfortable to sit in front or back, visibility is great (big side view mirrors).  Zipped down the highway at 80mph w/no trouble at all, with me (190lbs.), my wife (let's say about 115) and a 230lb. sales guy in the back. I even switched the AWD into auto from 2wd at that speed and didn't feel or notice anything negative.  Now I can't say dead start accel was anything to scream about with all of us in there, but it was comfortable.  Nothing in the car it doesn't need and a couple of nice touches such as radio controls in the steering wheel and an automatic climate control which I really liked how it operated.  My wife liked the simple controls on everything and how easy it is to get into and out of front or back seats. I'd have to say they hit the mark,  AWD in a car that has all this going for it and at the prices they're at to boot.
All in all I was surprised, and glad that my wife really liked it.  No sales haggle, got it at invoice and we're picking it up Tuesday.  When I get a chance I'll post up a pic in a new thread with ownership observations and progress to follow as time goes by.

2 words.....

Awesome Car!

We've had it for 2 months and about 1300 miles now.  No problems at all and gas mileage has been steadily improving.  I think it's up to a bit over 27mpg (FWD mode). The wife is plenty happy with it, so naturally, I am to! ;D

Can't beat it for the money, and I think Suzuki has better deals on them now it's getting near the holidays.

Well, the wife and I getting rid of her old Jeep TJ, and buying her a new 08 SX4.   We went and saw them at the local Philadephia auto show, and by far, this car was the standout in it's class.   She loved it!  Aesthetics are great, lots of features!

We test drove one last weekend, and made the decision that this will be her next car.   Once we pick it up on Saturday, I'll post up some pics!

Looks like we'll have another Zuk in our household!

Well, we are at the end of week two, and we have become more and more pleased with this car.   Our mileage is steadily improving as well, and all is tight and quiet.

I've had an opportunity to take some pictures that I wanted to share.   We have the 08 Crossover, with Convenience Package in Azzure Grey.

So far I've upgraded the headlights to Bi-Xenon HID and it has dramatically improved driving visibility.   I am also going to add some OEM foglights, as well as a rear hatch trim piece, and a cargo net.

Well, the mother in law fell in love with our SX4 so much that she had me take her to the local dealer to buy an 08 Touring.  So, here they are:

Ours, 08 Convenience in Azure Grey Metallic, and her 08 Touring in Deep Sea Blue Metallic

Great Cars!

My daughter just test drove a 07 AWD Auto.  She thought it was not very powerful.  Do these things lack pep?

Eveybody's definition of 'Pep' is different.  I think the car has plenty for what it is, and is intended to be.

We've got over 10,000 miles on our '08 auto and it's on it's third oil change w/ M1EP. The mpg is up over 30 driving around rural roads (front wheel mode).

Loving this car!
