Welcome to your new addiction! LOL, same basic story here, cant leave anything stock.....first thing I did was to get rid of the carpet all together and put down Monstaliner bedliner.

I haven't seen one w/o Tach - go to wrecking yard and get another instrument cluster with tach in it.  If you want correct mileage, swap your speedo into that cluster.  The wiring is probably in yours, as same years models had different options and FSM wiring shows lots of unused points.  Worse case you will have to run a wire.
Get a Factory Service Manual, or become familar with Ack's http://www.acksfaq.com/.  He has FSM's online.

i had an Opel Kadett back in the day; but not a GT...had a foot pump on the floor you would pump with left foot to squirt washer fluid!

I have seen several in the salvage yard without a tach, but they had auto transmissions under them.

Mine came with no tach as well. swapped in a different cluster no problem
also didnt have a clock or a cig lighter in mine.

Camber bolts seem to work, if only torqued to specifications.  I had one break on me, so I am somewhat wary of them.  You can also have the strut holes slotted put a large washers on and after adjustments weld the washers in place.

If there's no lift in the front suspension, you may have bent/bending strut towers. I had to put a brace accross the top of the engine from one strut to the other to hold them in place, and still use the camber bolts.

Back wheels are good, if you lift it more then 2" then you will need a spacer for the third link.
