fuel tank sending unit?
« on: February 11, 2011, 06:58:43 AM »
OK  I was looking around for a new sending unit for my 98 tracker. fuel pump works fine  just the gas guage isn't working right.    I found listings for 89 to 96 and 99 to 03.  They are pretty reasonable priced.   but the only ones I can find for the 97 and 98 trackers are really expensive.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 89-96 and the 97-98 sending units?  is the plug different? or what?

anyone know....?

Did you check the sending unit for resistance changes to Know it is bad?  Or does the Fuel gauge not change?  I found a bad Fuel gauge in the dash I was installing in my Tracker.
