New owner of 1989 Suzuki and 1995
« on: May 16, 2011, 09:03:49 PM »
New guy from Niagara Falls Ont. and just wanted to say Hi! I recently purchased a 1989 Suzuki then a 1995  Geo Tracker. Both 2 door convertables. Will post pictures once I figure it out. The 1995 will be for my Daughter and the 1989 I will keep. If I can get past the rust I will put it on the road. Both are manual with 1.6 engines. The 89 is throtle body 8 valve with a burnt exaust valve on #2 and decent frame to the rear end then lots of rust. Body decent rockers shot. The 95 has a 16 valve fuel injected engine running perfect and a  solid frame front to back with decent body except the very rear. With the amount of work involved I think I will be spending a lot of time here. I love the rocker panels made of 2X4 tubing. Looks great and functional as well. Both of mine will be getting the rock sliders. Just a bit of info about myself and my projects and am looking forward to getting started. Great forum for the Suzuki style of vehicles.
Thank You,
RV
