Hi, what kind of oil do you guys use in your tcase with 6.5:1 gears.

I just use the standard 80-90 weight.  If you put all new bearings and seals in when installing the gears you can switch to a synthetic.  If you have been running it a while I would stick with the 80-90.

Its a rebuilt tcase from RRO, I just got it bolted in, its never had oil in it yet. So what type of synthetic oil should I use?

I've use the 75W90 synthetic without issues, it should work fine for the transfer case.  Beware though, it is a bit more expensive.

Yes I did, its awesome I went over some rocks at a idle with no problem, before I had to work the clutch a ton, but when I tried some bigger stuff I broke the four bolts on my cross over steering arm I guess the 33s put it under allot more stress then the 205s, so time for some high grade bolts, and if they brake I'll drill it out for bigger bolts. 

Is your high steer arm connected to the kingpin?  If so that isn't going to work, you need to brace it off of the caliper.  When I bought my SJ someone had done the same thing, I though it was the low grade bolts so I swapped in high grade ones.  Then I snapped 3 high grade bolts off dropping of a ledge on the Moab Rim trail.  Not the best trail to drive down with only being able to turn to the right.

Yes it bolts to the kingpin, it has drums so I don't have a caliper to bolt it to, but I'm looking for sami diffs to put on it so I can get a stage 2 high steer kit

Drums?  Is this an SJ-410 then?  The Samurai knuckles should fit on the SJ-410 axles.  I may be off a bit, as my SJ-410 already had disk brakes on the front when I bought it.

Be careful when switching to Samurai axles.  You will need to weld on new pads.

Yes its a 82 SJ-410, 83 and up have front disc brakes.

On the passenger side your pad will be sitting partially on the center diff.  Your u-bolt won't fit quite right as it will try and slide up the side of the diff unless you put a bend in it, I finally welded a chunk of metal to act as a guide for the u-bolt to help it stay in place.
