Hello my name is Matt I live in northern Utah right now, I'm 31, currently looking for work, love to wheel, do repair work on cars trucks and especially Zuks. Here is my 86 Suzuki Samurai I am the second owner of it and I have owned it since May of 2000, it has a stock drive train (for now), 31" Big O XT tires on offset rims, SPOA, 3" taller shackles (I don't like them but I threw away my stock ones long time ago and have no money for new set), drop pitman arm, custom C-Henry diff guards (friend of mine came up with the idea to make them so I named them after him LOL), Thorley Headers, K&N air filter, RRO Driveshaft extensions, Cobra CB, and LED tail lights. I removed the stock front bumper and installed a stock Zuk push bar and added two off road lights to it, cut the door hinges to make them removable, welded a tab to the top of my stock roll bar so when I remove the top I can put the CB antenna up there. When I get a job again future plans are 4.16 T-case & 4.57 R&P gears with air lockers, YJ leafs, electric fan, new polyurethane body mount bushings (mine are shot), possibly power steering and a snorkel, and I'm sure more as time goes on.

Hey I'm andrew! recently picked up an 88 samurai which i have lovingly deemed "The STV"!! I was looking for a side-by-side to use on my farm but they were all $6000+ which seemed pretty silly to spend that much money on something that can't even go on the road. So i started looking for an alternative and BEHOLD! The STV!!! I had been driving a 98 sidekick for a couple years now and honestly i hated it! Was a lil embarressing to be seen in and the rattle from the loose heat shield on the exhaust made me want to disappear at stop lights!! But then when winter came around and I was breezing by people while their wheels just spun in the snow I became a believer.. The sidekick is dead now.. engine blew when 4 of my friends in I thought we could load it down with camping supplies (lots of beer) and drive 70 down the highway. Oh well, it may not be a daily driver and I wouldn't dream of trying to drive 70 down the highway but now I have a samurai thats already been through some rather extreme conditions and I LOVE IT!

Hello to all, My name is Dan and I live in Thailand.

I love my ZOOK and am always in the mud or the jungles on the weekends here when I am not working.

5-spd tranny
roll cage inside and outside
35" Simex Extreme tires
Mitsubishi Axles with manual locking diffs
Double winch, one in front and one in rear, both 9,500 lb. high speed
Stereo, mp3, cd. dvd. Tv, 350 watt amp, bose speakers


Just finished more mods by moving front axle forward and back axle backwards to give her a 108" wheelbase, now in paint shop for new color.

Too many options/mods to remember.

Here is Tipover.  Home made shackle reversal, all four spings moved 3" toward center, hybrid Suzuki rear spring pack front and rear, 1.6 conversion, tracker PS, home made cage, bumpers and rack, hybrid rear axle, 6 to 1 gears in billet case, rear disconnect, subaru rear disc brakes, toyota cv driveshafts, locker F and R with 4.62, front fenders opened up 3", split rear seats, cut doors, ARB fridge. bla bla bla.  Oh yea no missing links!

Nice Samurai Tipover... Do you have a picture of the Billet t-case? I think I remember you on the 'Con now...

Well I would, but that stuff is very expensive.  It cost me about 500 to make these,  So the profit margin is almost worse than a savings account. 

I almost pulled the trigger on a billet front output housing for the t-case with external twin shift, but someone came out with a twin shifter.  What I have found is people in general will try the cheapest option first. and Id have to gamble by producing a large number of units to get the price down.  If I had a retail vendor that would help market and presale, i would consider it.

I've been thought about making a PTO system for the t-case, but don't know what i would use it for.  Since SUZUKI stoped making the input shaft for the PTO, I got the directions from a amphibious car maker how to make them.  I first thought was to put a Electric car motor in the back and put a EFI 3 cyclinder engine in front for a psuedo hybrid.

I always have weird ideas....

Hey everyone! I'm a recent Zuki owner, and I've wanted a Sami for a long time... I live in Fort Collins, Co. And now drive a Shackled and axle flipped 87 JX! I just put on a DGEV, Lifted it, put on Alcoa Beadlocks and 31's, And gussetted the Z bar in the last week. I am putting on a hard top this weekend, as the soft top is shot!!! Got the stock 1300, Terrible Seats, It smells a bit ripe, But I got an eightball shifter, so all is well! Here it is as it looks today!
