Sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm still trying to figure out what gears ours has.  Haven't gotten any help on it though.  Anyone know if it's listed anywhere on the truck?

Ah, well, guess that's as low as she gets for now. :P

Just out of curiousity, does Suzuki put a code or listing ANYWHERE on the vehicle of this sorta stuff like GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, etc do?

I thought the Auto's had 4.875 at least up to 02? Check out the tech spec's on the main page

opps, maybe it was the 4cyl auto that was 5.125 :)

nope, I don't know were I got the 5.125 for the GV, maybe it was for the XL7 auto??

I went to the junkyard today to get some parts for a Niva we have, and asked about the Suzuki. Asked about a GV, they didn't have any. I asked about a Sidekick, for the rear differential and from R&P. They told me they wouldn't give me these parts, they would only give me the whole axles. So I would have 2 Sidekick axles, if I went this route. Now comes the price. 500€. Hmmmm too expensive don't you think? I could get myself some proper gears for that price couln't I?
