Moonfish Gets a Facelift. And a Lockright. And Stuff.

Been slowly working on bits and pieces of this build.

Currently has the OME 2.5 lift, Warn hubs, Lock Right in the rear, and rock Sliders from Rocky Road and 29" tires.  There is a cold air intake and a Magnaflow exhaust on the 2.0 automatic.  Drivers seat was replaced with a gas-shock dampening springer seat from an '84 (?) Montero to cope with the OME suspension while driving.  Next mod will be a 1" or 2" body lift.

The original black bumpers and side trim were turning all blotchy grey like most black plastic does.  I painted them with Krylon Fusion Satin Black and they look like new!  I love Krylon paint.

The 2 liter automatic was getting 21mpg average.  When I put the Warn hubs on there it jumped to 23mpg. Then I put the heavy ass sliders on there and I'm down to 22mpg but the suspension softened up a little.  I just got the locker put in there today.  We will see what that does to my mileage.

Anyway, I am ready for the Sierra Nevada granite this weekend!

Yeah Buddy!  A 2MPG increase just by putting manual hubs on is amazing!  They will pay for themselves by the end of summer.

Of course my Warn stuff has always been flawless off road too!

Feel free to send me some Warn schwag :)
