That is not true. My 01 4-door 2.0L would not fit certain styles of 15" rims...Unique Soft 8 rims come to mind. My Vitara came stock with 16" rims though so it probably has the bigger calipers as well. Right now I am running 15" rims from a Sidekick and they clear the calipers fine, but they don't have enough backspacing so my tires rub on my frame when I turn.
