T-Case pops out of 4HI......common problem?????

I tried searching...............

Our GV T-case is popping out of 4 Hi (mainly 50km speed logging roads bumpy conditions)

HELP............Any info REALLY appreciated...........Thanks 8)

well
as soon as i put in the manual hubs
it hasnt popped out of gear
not yet anyways
jeeps are like tampons

So is that with the hubs disengaged, or engaged???  If they were disengaged, 4Hi=2Hi, so no effect.

I have seen different complaints (online) about the 4WD systems (mainly the vacuum hose to the front diff issue)............But not too many about the t-case thing.........

I suppose I will try it after we throw some manual hubs on..........Thanks

Have to say that, with the hubs engaged, it should be no different to having the drive flanges.

The usual causes of jumping out of gear are worn gears or bearings, worn shift mechanism, weak or broken springs in the box or maybe a circlip.  So the cure is probably going to need a strip down of the TC.
