Caster/camber issues after lift install?

I just got Jeff's 2 inch coil spacer lift put on my 03 tracker (2 door 4cyl) along with new rear shocks.  It looks awesome, and the parts seemed to be high quality.  My buddy (mechanic) noticed that the caster/camber is off now with the lft.  The front tires "tow" is off, as the front tires appear to be slightly angled out now.  I've heard that I should expect some settling to occur with the lift before considering alignment.  Has anybody noticed this on a fresh lift?  Should I expect this to resolve after a couple weeks?

You shouldn't get any settling with spring spacers. Only if you have replaced the springs also. I would go ahead and get it aligned before it starts to wear your tires.

with any lift an alignment is necessary

The alignment place may balk at fixing the camber saying that it is "not adjustable".

There are camber adjuster bolts available for the Tracker/Sidekick.

Show that information to them. maybe they will do the alignment.  Then again, they may balk at the possibile liability risk.  If so,  you'll have to do it yourself.  The above search also contains a link to an installation video provided by the part manufacturer - Specialty Products.

Thanks for the help guys.  As always, the answers to any tracker problem can be found on this forum.  I thought I had thoroughly researched this lift before I did it, but I was not aware that my camber could/would be affected.  I'll contact my local shop to see what they can do, and if that doesn't work, I'll go for the bolts.

a little bit of slotting in the strut holes goes a long way for zero dollars.  just find a shop that understands and they will do it for you.

Good idea.  I would prefer to have this done as cheaply as possible.  I'll see is "slotting the strut holes" is an option.

i have also used 1 size smaller diameter bolts in the upper holes, this is also cheap and gives room for adjustment

Agreed.  Get your truck aligned.  Then have them check it again after a couple weeks of driving.  I have the 1.5 inch coil spacers on the front of mine as well.  Either they didn't seat the coils well or the springs moved and settled, but the end result is I did experience significant wear on the inside of my tires after driving about 5K on them before I noticed the wear and had it realigned.  I'm running those on the rear of my truck trying to even out the wear on them now. 

Slotting the top strut holes is a cheap, safe, easy and reliable way to get your alignment back into spec and virtually any alignment shop should be able to accomplish the minor enlarging of the holes.  The Camber bolts are salty to buy and are not as thick as the stock bolts (because of the camber).  The stock bolts won't fail you when properly snugged up.
'02 Chezuki Tracker with a 2 Liter and 5spd.  It works for me!!!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a shop willing to just "slot out the holes" for cheap around here.  Most of them seem absolutely clueless on how to handle the tracker.  I found a shop some distance away that specializes in doing allignments on lifted vehicles.  They sound like they will be able to slap some camber adjustment bolts in and take care of business.  Its painful in the wallet area, but I'd rather have it done right.  Thanks for all the help and advice on here.
