What Tyre Size?
« on: February 26, 2007, 11:15:54 PM »
Hi,
Ive got a 2002 Grand Vitara with the 1.6L G16B motor, My question is what is the maximum tyre size that this motor will be able to handle without modifying the gearing etc, I really just want to get some decent ground clearance under it. Don't mind doing a lift.

30" max for sure. We have a guy over here with a lift running 30's and it struggles with them  :o
I can not believe how gutless the later 1600 GV's are, I mean the early Mk1 1600 16V's just leave them for dead  ???

It is not what I would have expected form Suzuki - a step backwards, weird  :'(

The V6 GV's though - now thats a different story  ;D
