Nice Forum...Had a 98 Tracker Conv. which we both enjoyed but got a pickup for remodeling purposes. Now that were done we're goin back to an 03 ZR2Tracker...Found out I can run 225's with no issues and Firestone Destination seemed better to replace the original tires I will be getting...Yellow 03 conv. are scare as hens teeth around here and eventually found an 03 in SanFrancisco..On it's way to Pa as I'm writing this..Has 63k with original tires and got it for 6500.
I'm almost 60, not much into 4 wheelin but it will see snow...1st project is coolant change a hitch and bull bar with good fog lights...Will be looking fwd to getting info here..Think of helping your dad or grandpa ;^)...God Bless...Hk

Guy even kept it clean under the hood only stuck it in 4wd a few times..

Welcome - nice Tracker - I like yellow.

Don't worry about age - I'm 67 and it just doesn't matter.

NICE!  I had the identical vehicle back in 2003.  I bought a yellow 2002 ZR2 in October of 2003 for $12,000 with 12,000 miles.  I only kept it a month before trading it for a 4 door sedan.  I had a kid on the way and was having second thoughts.  I have regretted it ever since.  Whenever I see a ZR2 I miss mine.

As far as tires I'd recommend the BFG All Terrains very highly.  I had them on my Wrangler and they were great in snow and pretty good offroad.  Plus they look great.

Thanks for the comments and welcome..Good to see older ones here...As for the 02 Yellow tracker, I  thought I read that yellow was only introduced in 03..As for having kiddos, 4 doors are definitely best...We do have 9 grandkids but they are only occasional riders...As for the BFG's they guy I bought it from was going to get them for his next tires..The reason I an leaning toward the Firestones was the Tirerack ratings survey....God Bless you!  Hk

The 2002 was available in yellow  http://www.automotive.com/2002/65/chevrolet/tracker/base/west-virginia/princeton/19717746/585/index.html  Mine was a 2 door like yours though.

Good luck on your tire purchase.  I'm sure you would not regret the BFG's.  They are pretty much considered the best of the all terrain tires.

Clean lit'l Tracker you have there.   Very reliable and capable trucks.  You'll have a blast with it!
I'm pushing 55 (years that is... not MPH) and I'm still a kid at heart.  You are as young as you feel, just don't try wearing your baseball cap backwards.  It looks even dumber on older guys than it does on the young ones.
