Boondox coil spacers for GV's
« on: July 19, 2006, 08:22:28 AM »
I have noticed that Boondox has different coil spacers specifically for the GV's and was wondering how they fit?  I know some of you have purchased and installed them already, so let's hear about them.

I can tell you that Josh's (JDMCRX) coil spacer's fit great.  They were easy to get on, but tight enough that they stayed in place on their own while I was positioning the rubber isolater and spring.

I would also be interested to know if anyone has experience using Sidekick coil spacers.  Do they fit fine, is there even a need for coil spacers made specifically for the GV or are they the same thing?

Mine fit excellent, the only issue was the front would have sat higher if I hadn't added an extra spacer between the boondox one and the spring mount.

What size spacer did you fit to level out the back, and where did you get it from? If you didn't would there be a noticable difference between the front and back? I was looking at the BD spacers as well. For $100 it seems like a good price.

i have a 1 inch spacer in front and a 1.5 inch spacer in the rear of my tracker and it sits well.  if you did order the boondox spacers you could either trim 2 of them down for the front a bit and maybe add an extra spring isolator or 2 to help keep the rear up.
