Do the airbags, when not inflated, act as effective bump stops?

That is a good question. In the installation sheet it say not to use them as bump stops. But in the installation instruction for the rear they tell you to cut the rear bump stops off. I will personal be using them as my bump stop. The say to leave a minimum of 5psi in the at all times, I do not think the coil will compress the full way with the bag inflated that much. It does not ride any different then it did before adding the air bags with 5psi. I think they will act as a good bump stop considering they are good for 1000lbs. I know Medford on here told me in a earlier post I started about the air lift that he was useing his as soft bump stops. It's better then no bump stop. ;)
