hey guys,
I have some questions about spacer lifting my vitara. What ive gathered from previous threads is the recommended setup for a daily driver would be; 1 1/2" spacer in the Front(which will actually give you 2"),  2" in the rear, 2"strut extender from BDS, camber bolts, and some vic, mustang, or Toyota shocks for the back.
My question is can you use 2" spacers in the front without over stressing your cv's and would there be any other adverse reactions from 2" compared to 1 1/2" other than a noticeably higher front end?  I dont care about the looks just the function.. Also would it be possible to use some rear OME springs, that from their website say they add 1 1/2" with the 2" spacers for  +3 1/2" in the back, or would that screw anything up as well?

Also does anyone else sell individual vitara lift springs besides Rocky Road?

Just wanna get it right before i buy anything!

I use my 2" spacers all around. The front is a little bit higher than the rear but not really noticable. The 2" up front does put the cv's at more angle, but has not done any damage in a year. The 2" up front is also a lot harder to get in but it is possible. I can sell you a set of 4-2" spacers for $90 or a mixed set of 1.5 and 2" for $80, that includes shipping to US or add $5 for Canada. Hey Jeff1997,
I think im just gonna go with the 1 1/2" Front 2" rear spacer set up for now and play it safe im not to far into wheelin' yet!  If you still have them in stock next month i'll get them from you.  Just so im clear.. your spacers will fit an '01 vitara right?

James , let me but in for a sec...   I just did the 1.5" coil spacers on my 2001 Vitara two door... Very easy and a great hight... Remember to get the front strut extentions and the camber bolts , plus you will need longer shocks in the rear... I got mine from  http://www.boondoxmotorsports.com/zuk_suspension.html

That kit looks good to me.. its pretty much what im wanting to do, but i wanna do it just a little cheaper with the extra 1/2 " in the rear.. got any pictures of your vit?  Im planning to get everything next month.  Probably gonna go with the BDS 2" strut extenders from boondox since that seems to be the only extenders you can buy for out vits.  Does anyone sell strut spacers stateside?  Then some camber bolts from advanced auto for $15 a pair and the $15 crown vic shocks from there as well since thats what most people seem to be running.  But of course this is all open to suggestion!   
Actually i got a question about the camber bolts. Do you just need a set of camber bolts or 2 pair to staighten out an 1 1/2" spacer?

i decided to take a shot at making the spacers myself.. so i wont be getting them from ya like i said i would (that is unless something goes horribly wrong in my spacer making process)..

I also ordered the 2" strut extender from boondox.. i wanted strut spacers instead. They seem more reusable but didnt have the loot to get them shipped to the states.  Everything else i need im gonna pick up for the local parts store

Cool. That price for the plastic is pretty good. One of the guys I work with makes sausage stuffers out of the same material and he always complains how much it costs.

for 30 bucks i figured its worth a shot...  If it doesnt work out i now know i can use it for a sausage stuffer! ;D
