As no-one else has posted, this is the data for Japan-built vehicles for the European market. The design should be the same as Canada-built, but you folks do have different headlamps fitted (why?), so no guarantee:
White/red stripe is the wire from the fuse, with +12V, always connected to the headlamp filaments.
Red/no stripe is the wire from the Hi-beam filament to the headlamp switch, which provides a ground when you switch it on.
Red/white stripe is the wire from the Lo-beam filament to the headlamp switch, which provides a ground when you switch it on.
I hope that explains it clearly. Some folks are wed to the notion that the switch has to be in the +ve line - it isn't for headlamps.
