I've got an ARB in my 00 GV.  And yes and no.  Yes, the pump is on, but it only cycles to build pressure then turns off.

As for where to buy one, anywhere except places that have green background on their web pages. ;D

Isnt there a problem with the V6 Gv? Like the calmini lsd does not fit GV v6 manuals... Something about the width or something of the parts inside the diff...

i talked to calmini about putting their lsd locker in my v6.  they told me it 'might' fit.  they said that if i took mine out and messured it they would be able to tell me if it would work.  not sure if i am going to do that or just find a way to go ARB or just give up....

There is a guy ( he goes under the name "gear" ) on the NBS4x4 site in australia who runs ARB lockers front and rear - goes very well BUT he has found that the rear axles are not strong anough to cope with all that stress ( locked and bigger rubber 245/75x16 MTR's ). The front inner CV cage splits apart too  :o

Just something to think about  ???

Got me thinking - I run 235/85x16's and was thinking about lockers too  :-\

Good luck  ;)

1600 Escudo / Kick, beam front, coils all round, 37 MTR's, 97" wheelbase, locked fr & rr,twin stick, front stock ratio, Calmini 5.14 t box rear, Warn XD9000i winch, blah blah!

2.0 V6 auto, Calmini 3" kit, 33" jandles, LT struts, blah blah

2.5 V6 man GV, Calmini 2.5" kit, 235/85x16 jandle

life would be better with lockers.  anywhere i've checked tells me to swap out my third to pre 98 and things will fit.

anybody ever consider welding their DD diff?

JDMCRX, PLEASE let me know, that would save me so much trouble!!!

i really did think of welding it, but there is just too much ice here in the winter.

how do those tire sizes compare to my 30x11.5?

The manuals can't take a Calmini t-case gear set, only the Autos can.  Maybe that is what your thinking of?

Calmini is going to say ??? on the LSD and manual, as they haven't done it.  My thought, if the ARB fits, the LSD will too.

But why the fuss?  Swap in Kick 5.12s and be done with it.  Any increase in tire size will need it, and nobody will have an issue of whether the LSD or ARB fits.

As for survivability, it does okay with 31"s, and only locked in the rear.  Lockers tend to break CVs, and the rear shafts will break if you get jiggy with it.  I broke one.  Not fun.  Ran over $400 for parts from the dealer.
