Recovery Hooks
« on: May 17, 2007, 02:41:21 AM »
Have now had some time and money to spend on my GV, have had an OME suspension fitted and now running 225/75/16 Hankook MT's. My Question is how and where have you guys fitted recovery Hooks to your GV's, I am looking at joining the local club and their rules are quite strict. See Pic has anyone got any pics of hooks fitted to a GV like this?
2002 GV 1.6, Superwinch manual FW hubs, OME suspension allround, 225/75/16 Hankook RT101's.

From what I've read in a lot of other forums, GV's don't need hooks on the front as the tie-down loop seems to be adequate. Since it's such a light 4by it'll do. On the rear I have a Hayman Reece towbar and I just use the pin.
The requirement for hooks is mainly for heavier 4bys.
