Well, right now in the winter in Jersey I'm getting between 24 and 25, with a 2.0 5 speed 215 cooper discover at tires. It's garaged at night, don't run the heater in the am to get the motor to warm up in 5 minutes, then I wilil run the heater or defroster. Shift pretty much at 3000 rpm, 3500 going up a hill, on downhills I coast in 5th as much as possible. It's all back roads with 40 to 50 mph speed limits.
My wifes XL-7 bone stock has been geting 19 to 20.
In the spring and summer both go up a little. I've gotten 28 about 5 years ago when I was commuting farther. Right now it's only 12 miles each way. Thats the problem with mpg, the first quarter of each trip th emotor is cold and warming up and running richer.
HAVE FUN
