Gas tank lift-Easy
« on: August 30, 2020, 08:22:06 AM »
My tracker has pretty much everything done to it but the only thing that bothers me is the gas tank height after body lift, so time to raise it, brought a welder home from work and doing some custom fabrication, will be raising the rear mounts by the rear bumper by simply cutting out and raising 1.75” then weld it back together, now the fronts take a 60 degree triangle shim off the old gas tank holders which are 2.25” long, that will be level front front to back for mounts, cut out the factory upper bands, they do nothing and then I’ve made custom new tank straps and will put everything back together and will look way better... then I’ll make a custom skid plate!
I like tight lines, big racks and sweet lines, I’m just a sofisticated Redneck!
