Bumper covers aren't difficult to remove. As I recall there are a bolt and screw inside each fender and a couple of the plastic locks under the bumper that you pop out. You remove the plastic locks by either depressing the centers or screwing them out. Depends if they have been replaced by a PO. The one screw in the fender is almost straight upwards. Might be a couple screws underneath as well. Been a few months... but they come off really easy. You just have to ensure your find all those plastic locks and small screws. Same with the back. There are the plastic locks that you can see when you open the rear door, then the bolts and screws holding the cover on the bottom sides. When you lay on your back under the truck you should be able to catch all the plastic locks and screws.
