We have a brand new Susuki dealership, who carries MANY other brands as well, and as long as the work is properly done, with proper parts, there has never been a problem. But body lifts, and obviously homemade parts, and anthing that affects the necessary emissions will leave you screwed. That is why I allways spend a few extra bucks for 50 state legal parts.

our government and insurance are actuallly trying to make any modification not done by dealership illegal....if you right now get into an accident with your ricer and you have chipped it they will deny you coverage..if you have modifications and do not report to your insurance they will replace (maybe) only oem parts and nothing else. in some cases i fully understand ....infact AEM has already addressed this type of issues with there oil free filters for vehicles since the oil type actually mess up sensors and have blown engines due to incorrect readings. i agree with zoo it is important to get certified (from where ever you live) either 50 state or DOT approved so you can stay away from issues.
